You will be taken from first principles through to blog promotion and given resources to show you where to go next. These resources include how to find and select plugins and themes to extend your blog’s attractiveness and functionality.
The Course covers -
- Introduction to WordPress
- What WordPress can and can’t do
- Acceptable content
- Writing pages and posts
- Inserting images
- How to manage multimedia files
- Making money from your WordPress site
You will also be introduced to a couple of places you can hunt for information over the net in case you are stuck with something on your website.

- Webmasters who intend to use WordPress based websites.
- Individuals who wish to create a simple personal website or blog.
- Members of NGOs/Nonprofits who wish to carry out activities like fundraisers and awareness whilst keeping costs low and scalability high.
Pre requisites:
- Knowledge about using the internet in general - hyperlinks, searching on google and downloading files.
- Working knowledge of a word processing software like OpenOffice Writer or Microsoft Office.
- Working with archives like zip files.
- You'll work better if you have - Knowledge about HTML.
All the candidates are issued a certificate of completion.
